Last weeks event included kids from El Dorado, Capo Valley, Servite, Fountain Valley, Yucaipa, Lakewood, Marina, Canyon, Esperanza, El Modena, Irvine, Kennedy, Foothill, Sonora, Ventura, Delano, Mc Farland, Yorba Linda, Buena Park, Orange Lutheran, Valencia, Villa Park, Newport Harbar, St. John Bosco, Monrovia, Pacifica, Brea, Walnut and several others.
El Dorado typically draws some good numbers from out of the area, should be a good event.
The open division in the Fall is more of an "advance" high school division with varsity kids and very few adults, this will allow high school varsity wrestlers to wrestle a second division if the want.

Entry Fee: $10.00 per weight clbutt
Regsitration: All registration is the morning of the event or by special arrangment with the tournament hosts for outside the area teams travelling to the tournament.
Weigh-ins: 7:00-8:30 AM
Weight clbuttes: Pooled brackets double elimination.
Girls: Girls will be placed in the boys bracket, but will be allowed to wrestle exhibitions against other girls at no additional cost.
Divisions: Kids (bracketed based on age), Novice (please understand that the Novice division is for someone who started wrestling during the summer 2010 or after and is a current high school student), Junior Varsity (non varsity wrestler from the previous year, Varsity and Open
Medals: Top three per weight clbutt, brackets of nine or more will medal the top four.
USA Cards are required, cards are valid from September 1 through August 31.
2010-11 USA Cards can be purchased online at themat.com for $35 plus a service fee. Cards may also be purchased the day of each event for $45.00. There is no club membership requirement and insurance coverage for each card member is valid at any USAW sanctioned club or event nationwide.
